LocumJobsOnline is working with SUMO Medical Staffing to find a qualified Urology MD in Paducah, Kentucky, 42001!

About The Position

Seeking an experienced Urologist  to provide inpatient weekend call coverage in the Paducah, Kentucky (KY) area. Starting in January 2026. The role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits. There is also a Locum-to-Perm Option Available.

The Urology role :

  • Coverage Need :  Provide inpatient urology coverage to support our employed physician
  • Schedule :  2–3 weekends per month (Thursday / Friday AM through Monday AM)

Practice Setting :  Hospital-based, inpatient only

  • Team Structure : 1 employed Urologist (covers remaining call)
  • 2 Nurse Practitioners (ambulatory only; no inpatient support)
  • Support :  Onsite labs and imaging
  • Robotics :  Three robots available; current physician does not perform robotic procedures but can accommodate if desired

    • Responsibilities

  • On-call coverage for urology service
  • Consults and rounding on admitted patients
  • Perform necessary procedures and surgeries
  • Advanced endoscopic techniques and ureteroscopy required

    Job Requirements

    Requirements :

    KY License preferred or IMLC LOQ (accepted)

    Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Urology

    BLS and ACLS certification

    Laser certification

    Flu shot required; COVID vaccination highly preferred
