Senior Director Of Global Gi Cancer Advocacy And Society Engagement
Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company's R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. The Opportunity :
The Senior Director of Global GI Cancer Advocacy and Society Engagement will play an important role in driving RevMed's strategy and external partnership with GI cancer patient advocacy groups and societies. This includes initiating and growing RevMed's long-term relationships and strategic alliances to meet GI cancer patients needs and reach RevMed's corporate objectives.
This role will report into the Head of Advocacy and Society Engagement and play an integral role in helping to connect RevMed with the community to whom our work is committed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leads creation and implementation of RevMed's global GI cancer advocacy and professional society strategy and tactical plan.
- Serves as the primary point of accountability to develop long-term, trusting relationships across patient and professional societies globally.
- Drives cross-functional working groups to align teams surrounding patient education, access, and policy initiatives.
- In partnership with HR and communications, supports organization-wide initiatives, including : bringing the patient voice to RevMed, and orchestrating key employee events that bring our "tireless commitment to patients" into focus for employees.
- Plays an instrumental role in supporting launch readiness and post-marketing insight gathering to ensure patients achieve their best outcomes.
- Engages external patient advocacy groups in dialogue related to delivering health equity to populations in need.
- Establishes and leads our internal patient centricity work across functions.
Required Skills, Experience and Education :
The successful candidate will be a highly organized, proactive, resourceful, self-motivated leader with a roll-up-the-sleeves mentality and a strong sense of urgency. They should possess a proven track record of setting, driving, and delivering on objectives and projects, and have demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with others.
Minimum of 10-13 years of advocacy or patient related experience with 5 years minimum in a biotech / pharmaceutical company.Demonstrated ability to design and execute ideas from planning, developing, benchmarking, measuring, etc.Executive presence with the ability to collaborate, lead, facilitate, influence, and organize across groups and at multiple levels of an organization.Excellent organizational savviness with willingness and ability to work independently, think creatively, and shift gears depending on changing priorities and deadlines.Strong relationship management experience with at significant relationships in the lung cancer community.Significant cross-functional leadership skills.Proven ability to take initiative and consistently deliver high-quality, patient-centric solutions.Preferred Skills :
Master's degree.
