We are seeking an experienced EOL Calibration Engineer to join our team. This role will involve developing, testing, and calibrating powertrain control systems at the end-of-line (EOL) stage for internal combustion and hybrid vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MATLAB / Simulink , INCA , engine calibration , and vehicle diagnostics , with a passion for precision and performance in automotive engineering.

Job Description
As an EOL Calibration Engineer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing end-of-line calibration processes for powertrain systems. You will play a key role in optimizing engine and transmission controls to ensure each vehicle meets emissions, performance, and drivability targets. The EOL Calibration Engineer will also support EOL validation, troubleshooting, and diagnostic testing using industry-standard tools.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop EOL calibration processes for assigned powertrain control modules.
Perform end-of-line testing on vehicles to verify and fine-tune calibrations as needed.
Develop and execute EOL test scripts using OEM-specific diagnostic tools.
Conduct root cause analysis for validation issues and develop prototype models to address findings.
Validate OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) features using OEM diagnostic toolchains.
Collect, process, and analyze data acquisition results to support calibration decisions.
Apply Design of Experiments (DoE) and optimization techniques to improve calibration efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in controls, validation, and diagnostics to ensure seamless software integration.
Document calibration results and provide technical feedback to the engineering team for continuous improvement.
Ensure all EOL testing aligns with powertrain performance, emissions, and quality standards.
Essential Skills
Proven experience in Powertrain Calibration and Engine Controls Development .
Strong understanding of internal combustion engine operation and emissions systems.
Hands-on experience with MATLAB / Simulink , ETAS INCA , and data acquisition systems .
Knowledge of UDS diagnostic protocols , CAN , and LIN communication systems .
Proficiency in EOL testing , feature validation , and troubleshooting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with engine analysis and calibration tools , simulation environments , and optimization techniques .
Desirable Skills
Experience in Powertrain Engine Controls Development for ICE and hybrid systems.
Knowledge of emissions testing , engine technologies , and competitive benchmarking .
Expertise in advanced simulation tools and calibration data management .
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across functional teams.
