Design Engineer
Summary : Seeking a Design Engineer to develop material handling technologies and manage project designs from conception through fabrication.
Job Requirements :
Perform project design and drafting for material handling technologies
Review customer site / plant drawings and perform site visits for data collection
Utilize 3D Point Cloud Scans for design and retrofitting purposes
Develop system designs, models, and equipment drawings using Inventor and DEM software
Create ductwork layouts and equipment arrangements for collection systems with AutoCAD and Inventor
Develop piping layouts and general arrangement drawings for washdown systems using AutoCAD and Inventor
Generate detailed design drawings for collection system components
Preferred Skills :
Expert knowledge in AutoCAD and Inventor
Experience with 3D point cloud scan data utilization
Familiarity with ERP systems operation
Welding experience or strong understanding of welding practices
Knowledge of fabrication methods, techniques, and procedures
Job Responsibilities :
Conduct accurate surveys, data gathering, and field measurements for equipment layouts
Design bulk material handling systems including transfer chutes, containment, conveyors, etc.
Issue detailed component designs to fabricators for production
Educational Requirements :
Associates or higher degree in a technical field
Additional Skills :
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Pay Details : $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
