A leading manufacturer in the power distribution and energy solutions industry is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join its executive team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Commercial Officer will lead all commercial functions—Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience—and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s next phase of growth. This individual will design and execute commercial strategies that elevate customer satisfaction, enhance scalability, and position the company for continued success in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and Implement Commercial Strategies
- Define and execute commercial strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
- Oversee the roadmaps for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience to drive growth and profitability.
- Build systems to capture and act on customer insights to guide business decisions.
- Lead efforts to improve pricing strategy, customer satisfaction, and retention.
Build a High-Performing, Accountable Team
Create a culture of ownership, performance, and excellence with clear metrics and accountability.Attract, develop, and retain top talent across commercial functions.Enhance team capability through coaching, development, and leadership alignment.Leverage Data and Analytics to Drive Performance
Implement a data-driven approach to improve decision-making, visibility, and commercial execution.Use analytics to monitor commercial performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.Prepare the Business to Scale—Organically and Inorganically
Develop scalable commercial systems and processes to support rapid growth and M&A integration.Build playbooks that ensure consistent customer experience and operational excellence post-acquisition.Optimize commercial investments, resources, and structures for efficiency and impact.Enhance Cross-Functional Collaboration
Strengthen alignment between Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to improve communication and delivery.Streamline processes that improve accuracy, speed, and customer responsiveness.Be a Strategic Partner to the Executive Team
Serve as a trusted member of the senior leadership team.Collaborate closely with the CEO, board, and other executives to define and deliver company objectives.Build credibility and trust with stakeholders through consistent, results-driven leadership.Qualifications :
Minimum of 10 years of senior commercial leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial organization with revenue of $350M+; experience in a private equity–backed environment strongly preferred.Proven track record of leading commercial growth across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience.Experience building scalable commercial systems to support hyper-growth and M&A integration.Demonstrated ability to optimize pricing, performance, and profitability while maintaining a strong customer focus.Proficiency in leveraging modern CRM, analytics, and business systems to drive results.Strong executive presence with excellent communication, leadership, and influence skills.Hands-on, strategic leader who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.Demonstrated ability to upgrade talent, mentor teams, and build high-performance commercial organizations.Core Values
