Advanced Mfg Engineer Sr

As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and driving operational excellence. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency, quality, and productivity of our advanced manufacturing operations.

You will report directly to our Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location.

In this role, you will impact the overall success of our manufacturing operations by implementing advanced manufacturing technologies, driving process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful new product introductions (NPI) for the Engines & Power Systems (E&PS) sub business unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.

5+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering or a related field.

Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing.

Proven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements.

Mechanical Systems & Components provides a wide range of mechanical products and value-adding services to Honeywell Aerospace customers, including aircraft manufacturers and operators, and agencies of the U.S. government. The business develops and manufactures air and thermal systems, mechanical components, and wheels and braking systems. It also manages and operates facilities for the Federal government. Every 5 seconds, an aircraft lands with Honeywell Wheels and brakes. The entire fleet of U.S military fighters and trainers use Honeywell Cabin Pressure Systems.
