Mechanical Designer

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer to join our Design Services Group in Florence, SChome to our North American Elevator Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain operations. This role focuses on modeling and drawing generation for mechanical hardware and components used in elevator systems. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong cross-functional communication skills to support innovation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include :

• Provide design support to internal teams and external customers
• Modify existing components and develop new solutions to enhance product durability and performance
• Investigate and resolve engineering challenges with a hands-on, analytical approach
• Create detailed models and drawings at both component and system levels
• Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives through smart design and optimization
