We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Systems Engineer (Midnight Shift) based in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Shift Time : 9 : 30 PM - 6 : 30 AM (Sunday night - Friday morning)

The Role :

• Ensure that broadcasts from customers are accurate compared to InSequence MES, PLEX, etc.
• Inform and advise the PE Manager / MES team of process, product, or communication issues arising from customers or with MES, broadcasts, or sequencing errors. Support other departments such as Logistics and Accounting when issues related to BOMs, BOLs, serial numbers, VINs arise.
• Support Accounting with 846 discrepancies related to BOL and PLEX serial numbers.
• Support PER, ECR, and test parts (DV / PV etc.) builds for internal and customer needs.
• Improve part quality by developing and implementing error-proofing methods to prevent manufacturing defects, incorrect or obsolete components, and ensure proper part substitution processes.
• Develop and implement processes for efficient ECRs, PERs, and test parts within MES to meet customer demands.
• Collaborate with MPS departments (PE, IT, Quality, Logistics, Production, Accounting) to ensure ECR and PER targets are communicated, initiated, and successfully launched.
• Utilize problem-solving methods for non-conformances, MES issues, failures related to ECRs, or broadcast errors.
