Job Profile Title : Clinical Research Program Manager B
The Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I) is seeking a Clinical Research Program Manager B / C (Manager / Senior) for the nascent Center for Cancer and Aging. Founded at the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania, PC3I is embedded at the nexus of research and practice. Our mission is to create, test, and scale solutions to improve how we care for patients with cancer. The Center for Cancer and Aging is a new initiative, administratively housed within PC3I, that aims to redefine geriatric oncology by advancing research, transforming care delivery, and fostering interdisciplinary education and training. In partnership with the Center for Cancer and Aging's co-Medical Directors, the Manager will provide leadership, staff and project management, and administrative support for the Center. The (Senior) Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing the Center's core goals to advance high-impact research, promote evidence-based care, and develop leaders in geriatric and supportive oncology. Responsibilities will develop as the Center grows, but will always include program administration, project management, and support of education / engagement initiatives. The Senior Manager is responsible for both long-range planning within these efforts as well as day-to-day management of related work. This position reports directly to PC3I's Director of Operations, with functional dotted line reporting to the Center for Cancer and Aging's co-Medical Directors. This is a hybrid position. It can be primarily based in one of three locations : Philadelphia, PA; Princeton, NJ; or Lancaster, PA, with occasional travel to the non-primary sites as needed. Qualifications
Prior experience in program administration is required, with specific expertise in geriatric oncology preferred, as well as advanced professional skills in project management, clinical research management, and program administration.
For Manager, B level position : Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
For Senior Manager, C-level position : Bachelor's degree and 7-9 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master's degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
