Ziegler Cat has an opening for a full-time Inside Parts Sales Person to serve our customers. We are looking for a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills to help support our growth. Responsibilities include providing superior customer service face-to-face or over the telephone to customers, helping customers determine correct parts needed, verifying availability, and making recommendations. The role also involves determining the correct parts and their availability, completing parts orders, determining the supplying facility and mode of transportation for parts shipment, entering proper shipping information into the parts ordering system to process the order and generate an invoice, processing backorders, returns, and exchanges, and assisting their team with group and team sales, providing a link and collaboration between different departments during the sales process. Additionally, the Inside Parts Sales Person will communicate with customers for sales, follow-ups, and addressing potential issues, prepare quotes for service work, as well as engines, machines, and parts, assist customers with basic issues or concerns by taking action, providing alternatives, or escalating the issue to the more experienced team member, fill and prepare orders for shipment and to inventory, receive parts and backorder parts, fill orders with materials from stock locations, help manage bin and parts locations to verify inventory records, address any discrepancies in parts inventory, determine the proper mode of transportation for parts shipment, assess equipment, tools, and environment to ensure workplace and warehouse are free of hazards and are in compliance, load and unload cargo using forklifts, build hydraulic hoses and maintain hose bench, work in a cooperative manner with team and superiors, maintain a safe and productive workplace keeping in mind the specific environmental standards of the department.

Qualifications : High school diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred. 2+ years in diesel engine, construction or agriculture equipment, or automotive parts or service. Up to 4 years of experience preferred. Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player. Basic computer skills (navigation, searching) and Microsoft Outlook (email). Basic telephone experience. Basic customer service skills. Personal characteristics : Customer Focus, Teamwork, Learning Orientation, Efficiency, Sociability. Minimum Physical Requirements : Push / pull up to 10 lbs. Lift / carry up to 50 lbs. Lift bulky objects. Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, supine overhead reaching, crawling, bin lift, high steps, fingering / grasping - able to use bolt box. Working Conditions may be indoor and / or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.

The pay range for this position is $20.55 to $24.62. Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant's location.
