Senior Accountant - International Operations

Leading multinational corporation with a strong presence. We operate across multiple countries in the LATAM region. As we continue to expand globally, we are seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.

Salary : $80k
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) for our LATAM subsidiaries.
- Manage intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation across different entities and currencies.
- Coordinate and facilitate audits conducted by external auditors, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts for international operations, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with tax advisors to optimize tax strategies and minimize liabilities in various jurisdictions.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with international operations, such as currency fluctuations and regulatory changes.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in a multi-national environment.
- Provide financial analysis and support for business initiatives and expansion projects.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on international operations.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
- Willing to travel at least 4 times a year.
