Investor Relations Analyst
EquityMultiple is on a mission to transform real estate investing through technology and bring transformative wealth creation to a broader demographic of investors. We're a 35-person startup headquartered in New York City making waves in the real estate crowdfunding space.
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Investor Relations Analyst to serve as the primary point of contact for current investors while managing critical operational functions that support the investor lifecycle. This role combines frontline customer service with behind-the-scenes operations to ensure seamless investor experiences from onboarding through ongoing account management and investment transactions. Working in a fast paced startup, this role will involve significant cross-functional collaboration and direct work with senior management and stakeholders.
The Responsibilities
Investor Communication & Support
- Provide first-line support via web chat, phone, and email for investor inquiries
- Respond to frequently asked questions and general platform inquiries, escalating as needed
- Manage bug reporting and coordinate with technical teams
Investor Onboarding & Account Administration
Guide new investors through account creation and setup processVerify investor documents and manage KYC / AML compliance requirementsMaintain accurate investor records and update CRM systemsAdminister IRA accounts including document collection, funding coordination, and processingInvestment Operations Support
Support new offering launches and funding roundsAssist investors with capital calls and funding transactionsConduct accreditation verification and funding confirmationsThe Qualifications
Bachelor's degree1-3 years of experience in customer service, operations, or financial servicesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and Google SuiteDetail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive financial informationPreferredDegree in Finance, Business, or related fieldExperience with investor relations or client services in financial servicesFamiliarity with alternative investment platformsExperience with Intercom or similar customer service platformsExperience with project management software (Asana, Slack, etc.)Basic understanding of investment products and financial marketsThe Pay and Perks
