Position Summary
The Associate Configuration Specialist is responsible for effectively configuring Karmak's customer business system software and to implement strategic business processes, while communicating internally with other teams at Karmak to successfully transition the customer through the bring live process. The Associate Configuration Specialist must be able to setup and convert setup data for on one major module in the Karmak business system software.
Essential Job Functions
- Guide and assist Karmak's customers through setup and Configuration of the Karmak software by ensuring the system meets the customers expectations and that standards defined by Karmak are put in place. This includes :
- Documenting Configuration notes for all necessary parties visibility, including documenting customer processes, setup structure and have a basic understanding of business processes and their impact on the setup of the Karmak business system software.
- Providing assistance and being a team player during Configuration including point person discussions, taking notes and driving computer during Configuration with the customer.
- Perform Business Strategy and Data Discussion calls with customer to get a basic insight to their business processes and practices to ensure optimal Karmak business system setup, as well as explain Data loadsheet requirements.Review demo notes and pre-implementation Consulting notes prior to Business Strategy session.
- Converting setup data and communicating any necessary changes and feedback to the Customer.
- Maintaining the default database used for Configuration.
- Maintaining communication between the customer, Project Manager, data, and training.
- Providing assistance to Karmak teams during bring live.
- Complete Branch Add's, Mergers, Acquisitions based on the customer request and by the deadline provided. This includes :
- Completing the Branch Add, Merger or Acquisition by the date provided by the Customer and Karmak Resource Coordinator.
- Notifying Resource Coordinator of any needed time or meetings that need to be scheduled to complete Branch Add, Merger or Acquisition.
- Maintaining communication with the customer and internal Karmak teams during the Branch Add, Merger and Acquisition.
- Seeking out necessary resources to discuss any Business Strategy items or business process related that may be presented during the process.
- Complete projects assigned in a timely manner.
- Work with team on projects and participate and assist team as needed to project completion.
- Point out potential risks and roadblocks of projects.
