Job Description

School-Based Scholars is a dual-enrollment program offered by Northern Kentucky University for eligible high school students. SBS students have the opportunity to take college classes for dual credit at a reduced tuition rate. We serve public school, private school, and homeschool students from the Northern Kentucky region and beyond. Our students can take classes at their high school (if offered), online, and / or at our Highland Heights campus.

This position serves an important role on the School-Based Scholars team, directly supporting SBS efforts and initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to general office duties such as :

• Answer calls, emails
• File, copy, and type
• Create and manage social media posts
• Assist with program events
• Run errands on campus
• Database entry
• Assist with special projects
• Assist with processing applications, permit requests, registrations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Desirable traits and qualifications include

GPA 2.5 or above

Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
