Position Summary :
Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Forward Deployed Solutions Engineer is the hands-on solutions lead at the customer front line—partnering with Sales pre-close and owning technical delivery post-close.You’ll design architectures, build integrations and pipelines, and turn 0→1 prototypes into hardened 1→N solutions on Notable’s document-processing platform (plus complementary low / no-code tools). In your first six months, you’ll build strong relationships with the core engineering team, develop a deep understanding of the current architecture, and serve as the bridge between Notable and customer engineering teams.By synthesizing themes across multiple customers, you will help define the next set of capabilities for the core platform.Over the longer term, you will leverage the platform to design and deliver solutions for customers.Job Duties Pre- & post-sales partner :
Lead technical discovery, demos, PoCs, and success criteria definition; own solution design through deployment and handoff.Architect & diagram :
Produce clear system, sequence, and data-flow diagrams; define interfaces, SLAs, and failure modes.Issue resolution :
Triage and resolve technical blockers across discovery, design, and implementation.Bridge teams :
Liaise between Sales, Customer / Implementation, Security, and Core Engineering; drive decisions and unblock dependencies.Build solutions :
After the platform evolves, deliver integrations, microservices, real-time data pipelines, and lightweight UIs with modern stacks, leveraging low- / no-code as needed.Rapid prototyping :
Turn ambiguous requirements into scrappy-but-safe 0→1 prototypes in days (Notable + low / no-code, Python / TypeScript); validate with real data / telemetry, then harden to a 1→N architecture.AI / LLM hands-on :
Apply prompting, RAG, vector stores, and evaluation frameworks to real workflows; tune for quality, latency, and cost.Security & compliance by design :
Implement HIPAA / SOC 2 controls, least-privilege access, audit trails, and robust data-handling policies.Operationalize :
Stand up observability, alerting, runbooks, and on-call paths; author playbooks and repeatable patterns to scale.Stakeholder management :
Communicate crisply with executives, DME experts, and engineers; manage risks, timelines, and change control.Required Qualifications Work experience :
5+ years in Solutions / Forward-Deployed / Implementation / Sales Engineering or similar technical role with substantial client interaction.Builder skill set :
APIs (REST / gRPC), event streams / queues, ETL / ELT, microservices (Python / TypeScript / Go), CI / CD, and cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure).Practical AI experience :
LLM prompting, retrieval, embeddings / vector DBs, guardrails, and evals; comfort trading off quality / latency / cost.Product mindset :
Strategic thinking in problem evaluation and solution design Security mindset : HIPAA / SOC 2, PHI handling, access control, auditability.Professional deliverables :
Excellent diagrams / docs (PlantUML / Mermaid / Lucid), customer storytelling, and exec-ready communication.Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.Work authorization :
