About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 1 year in Med Surg

License : Current RN License eligible for licensure in state

Certifications : BLS from AHA required; ACLS from AHA preferred

Must-Have :

1 year Med Surg experience, inpatient only

Description :

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.

Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care.

Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.

Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.

Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the organization’s mission and values.

Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.

Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice.

Meets unit-specific physical demands, including significant bending and stooping.

May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, and days of the week according to patient care requirements.

Exposure to blood and body fluids is possible.

Physical demands may require lifting, pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs.

Maintains accountability for the provision of patient care.

Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.

Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.

Upholds patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Meets the standards of practice as outlined in professional guidelines.
