JOB SUMMARY :

The MA Team Lead ensures quality care to the Tepeyac Community Health Center patient population, executes day-to-day workflows, and provides support and direction to the MA team.

Responsibilities :

• Increase employee motivation, retention, and engagement by providing ongoing coaching to staff.
• Ensure the proper vitals collection and appropriate documentation of routine patient intake.
• Direct patient flow and assist other staff in need of assistance to maintain patient flow.
• Write the daily assignment including MA assignment, room assignment, daily tasks for MAs, and lunch schedule.
• Ensure MAs perform and document basic patient history, treatments, and medications appropriately.
• Perform laboratory and diagnostic tests as ordered by the provider.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report any pertinent information to the nurse regarding the patients condition and care.
• Keep providers informed of changes in assignments or patient flow that will affect working conditions.

Requirements :

Pay & Benefits :

The hourly range for this position is $27.00-$28.00 / hour, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, a flexible spending account, a 401k, disability insurance paid for by Tepeyac, nine paid holidays, four weeks of vacation and 6 days of sick leave each year.
