About The Position

A busy hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Hilton Head Island, SC.

This facility is seeking 1-2 additional CRNAs starting in April, with shift options of 8s, 10s (limited availability), and 12s. CRNAs must be comfortable with OB cases, including epidurals and C-sections, with preferred start dates of 1 / 14 if possible. The schedule includes MondayFriday full-time coverage plus call. CRNAs do not take call, but the call structure includes a late CRNA working 7 AM5 PM and staying for late cases until 9 PM, at which point the MD on call takes over. Calls are not in-house but are both beeper and call-back, with a 20-30% call-back volume after shift hours. The facility has six ORs plus an OB unit, handling cases such as OB, spine, ortho, general, and GI, with infrequent heads and hearts and limited pediatrics. The EMR system used is Cerner. Shift hours vary between 7 AM5 PM and 7 AM3 PM, with the expectation that providers stay until cases are complete. Cases begin at 7 AM, and locums are expected to arrive by 6 : 30 AM.
