Our team works closely with various departments and suppliers through every step of the procurement process, including requests for quotes (RFQs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and contract management. Key Responsibilities
Oversee procurement activities including managing bids, RFPs, RFQs, and cooperative purchasing, from initial advertisement to contract award.
Coordinate evaluation committees, ensuring clarity of project scope and compliance with regulations throughout the process.
Analyze vendor submissions, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and ensure adherence to applicable requirements and policies.
Manage contract renewals, amendments, and updates in collaboration with stakeholders.
Review and process purchase orders and requisitions to ensure accuracy and alignment with internal protocols.
Provide guidance and training on procurement policies and practices while ensuring compliance.
Procurement Areas Of Focus
Indirect Sourcing - Professional Services, IT, Equipment, Facility Management Services, and Grounds Maintenance (e.g., snow removal, landscaping).
Requirements Qualifications
Experience in purchasing / buyer roles with RFP / RFQ / Bid processes.
Ability to develop and drive scopes of work.
Government, Federal, Education or Healthcare experience preferred.
Comfortable with medium-complexity procurement processes.
