  • Tropical Shipping is in the final phase of its enterprise-wide Windows 11 migration and is seeking a skilled and customer-focused technician to assist with upgrading approximately 230 remaining devices. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth transition for end users and maintaining operational continuity across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities :

    Deploy pre-configured Windows 11 images to end-user devices (target : 5+ machines per day).

    Perform post-imaging configurations including :

    Connecting to corporate Wi-Fi networks

    Installing and configuring printers

    Setting up email, PDF tools, and other business-critical applications

    Collaborate directly with end users to ensure their new devices are fully operational and personalized to their needs.

    Conduct follow-up support calls (via phone or Microsoft Teams) to resolve any post-migration issues.

    Document completed work and update tickets using the Halo ITSM platform.

    Troubleshoot general Windows 11 issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.

    Technical Environment :

    Microsoft-centric infrastructure

    Windows 11 deployment using a standardized image

    Halo for ticketing and task tracking

    Mix of desktop and laptop hardware

    Qualifications :

    Proven experience with Windows OS deployments and imaging

    Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and device configuration

    Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows 10 / 11 environments

    Experience with printers, Wi-Fi setup, and common business applications

    Excellent communication and customer service skills

    Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

    • The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / hr.
