Summary
Interact with Customers on inbound and outbound calls to handle sales requests. Prepare quotes based on Customer specifications.
Follow-up with Customer to resolve differences throughout the sales, build and ship process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requests and needs
- Provide customer with product or feature recommendations, as appropriate
- Prepare product quotes for customer and other sales representatives
- Work with internal and external contacts to facilitate pricing, quoting, ordering, and production processes
- Interact with customer to resolve discrepancies of definition.
- Interact with customer to supply updates.
- Define requirement for specialty purchased materials to manufacture product.
- Consult with Operations Manager and Engineering (as needed)
- Coordinate with administrative and sales support to ensure timely freight quotes and accurate costs
- Read and interpret CAD drawings
- Review specifications with Engineering, Design (as needed).
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
- Excellent PC skills
- Attention to detail
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Education & Experience
- Requires 2-year degree in a related discipline
- 1-2 years relevant sales / project management experience preferred
