Position Overview : As a Data Architect, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data architecture to support the needs of our organization.

Working closely with cross-functional teams of data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, you'll ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our data solutions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

  • Data Architecture Design : Design and architect scalable and efficient data architecture solutions to meet business requirements, including data models, schemas, and storage structures.
  • Data Modeling : Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data integration, analysis, and reporting.
  • Data Governance and Compliance : Implement data governance policies and standards to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of data assets, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Data Integration : Design and implement data integration solutions to ingest and integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring data consistency and coherence across systems.
  • Data Storage and Management : Manage data storage solutions, including databases, data lakes, and cloud storage services, optimizing for performance, cost, and scalability.
  • Data Lifecycle Management : Define and implement data lifecycle management processes to manage the lifecycle of data from creation to archival or deletion.
  • Data Quality and Metadata Management : Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and metadata management processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
  • Documentation and Collaboration : Document data architecture designs, standards, and best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and transparency.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong background in data architecture, with hands-on experience in designing, building, and optimizing data architecture solutions.
  • Proficiency in data modeling techniques and tools, including ER modeling, dimensional modeling, and data modeling tools (e.

g., ERwin, ER / Studio, PowerDesigner).

Experience with database technologies such as relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.

g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data lakes, and data warehouse platforms (e.

g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
