Server - Salute

Overview :

Serve food and / or beverages in a friendly, courteous and professional manner according to Kahler Hospitality Groups high standards of quality.

Responsibilities :

• Responds to all guest and client requests promptly and efficiently.
• Set tables as instructed by F&B Manager to include linen, serviceware, and glassware.
• Attend pre-shift meetings before opening to discuss specials, groups, projects, including guest and hotel expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests quickly and courteously.
• Serve food and / or beverages according to Richfields standards.
• Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and at the end of the meal.
• Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Perform all assigned side-work to include replenishing condiments and restocking supplies.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards.
• Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations.

Supportive Functions

Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications :

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies. Other competencies not listed may be required for specific positions.

• Ability to multi-task.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and serviceware.
• Possess strong communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• High School Diploma preferred
• Prior hospitality / serving experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates.
• CPR and First Aid training preferred.
