Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee the maintenance for a 24 / 7 automated distribution facility.
- Manage a team of 14 (2 leads, 6 Tech II, 6 Tech I) with a healthy and collaborative relationship with operations leadership.
- Balance responsibilities between office and floor (roughly 60 / 40) depending on the day.
- Drive reliability and continuous improvement — from preventative maintenance to implementing process changes that enhance uptime and throughput.
- Partner closely with leadership to increase engagement and drive buy-in for process initiatives.
- Oversee equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair, and contractor / vendor maintenance activity.
- Execute and evolve the Preventative Maintenance Plan while tracking key metrics like uptime and PM compliance.
- Ensure all work meets FDA and cGMP quality standards.
- Lead budget oversight and resource planning to meet production and quality goals.
- Serve as a key on-call leader to support operational needs for a 24 / 7 facility.
Who You Are
Experienced : 7+ years in maintenance, ideally in big box automated distribution, fulfillment, or automated manufacturing environments.Leader : 3+ years managing people — building strong teams, driving performance, and leading through change.Technically savvy : Strong troubleshooting skills, with proven experience in automated systems and reliability initiatives.Professional & proactive : Comfortable making decisions and driving execution with a high level of professionalism and accountability.Adaptable : Willing and able to support a 24 / 7 operation through on-call leadership responsibilities.Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s in Engineering or related discipline preferred).Ability to lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working in hot and humid conditions and wearing a full-face respirator.Why You’ll Love It Here

The anticipated salary range for this position :
$110,240.00 - $165,360.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and / or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
