About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design, modernization, and implementation of cloud-native, AI-driven solutions within the Banking and Capital Markets domain. The architect will collaborate with business, technology, and executive stakeholders to build scalable architectures across cloud, data, and AI ecosystems-enabling digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities AI & Cloud Architecture

Architect end-to-end AI / ML and Generative AI solutions for BFSI use cases such as fraud detection, AML / KYC automation, predictive risk analytics, anomaly detection, and intelligent document processing.

Design cloud-native architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including microservices, containerization (Kubernetes), API management, and event-driven patterns.

Develop secure, scalable MLOps pipelines supporting model deployment, monitoring, governance, and audit-readiness.

Solution Design & Modernization

Lead modernization of banking and capital markets platforms-core banking, payments, treasury, trading systems-leveraging hybrid cloud and high-performance integration patterns (Kafka, REST APIs, ESB).

Define enterprise-grade architectures supporting high-volume, low-latency financial transactions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory

Partner with technology heads, risk teams, compliance functions, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable architectural frameworks.

Influence cloud, AI, and data investment strategies through clear architectural roadmaps and solution blueprints.

Governance, Security & Compliance

Integrate zero-trust security, IAM models, encryption, and data governance policies aligned with regulatory standards (SEC, OCC, FINRA, Basel).

Ensure AI designs adhere to ethical AI principles, model explainability, and compliance requirements.

Program & Team Leadership

Provide architectural leadership across cross-functional teams in onsite-offshore delivery models.

Mentor engineering, cloud, and data teams on best practices in cloud modernization, AI engineering, and DevSecOps.

Required Qualifications

12 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, cloud engineering, or AI / ML solution design.

Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) , microservices, API design, Kubernetes, and event streaming (Kafka).

Hands-on background in AI / ML and Generative AI implementation within BFSI.

Experience architecting solutions for capital markets (trading, treasury, payments) or banking systems.

Strong understanding of regulatory environments, compliance frameworks, and secure system design.

Proven track record leading enterprise transformation programs and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Certifications : AWS / Azure / GCP Solutions Architect , TOGAF, PMP / SAFe, or security certifications (CISM, CISSP).

Experience with financial platforms like Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Murex, Calypso, Temenos, FIS, etc.
