Job Summary

Oversee the department's supervisory staff and monitor adherence to all policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

• Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
• Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding to guest and team member concerns and questions.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of team members to include performance reviews, rewards, discipline, time and attendance, scheduling, shift bids, training, plan work, assign work, direct work, address complaints and resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual security related statistical data designed to identify areas of opportunity or potential risk.
• Establish or recommend security related strategies, objectives and policies to maintain appropriate levels of safety and security.
• Consult legal counsel and / or insurance agency representatives to ensure that policies comply with applicable laws and gaming regulations.
• Write directives advising department managers of company policy regarding security procedures and / or protocols.
• Responsible for the detainment of persons that may be involved in illegal acts, such as crimes against persons or property and gaming cheating or swindling, for the purpose of notifying law enforcement officials or gaming commission authorities.
• Implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
• Interview job applicants and make job offers to eligible candidates.
• Maintain harmony and resolve work place conflicts between team members.
• Identify and address team member policy violations.
• Conduct ongoing safety focus groups for front line and supervisor-level team members to identify potential and existing areas of concern.
• Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, fire and safety institutions, business leaders, community leaders and others that may serve as strategic partners.
• Attend scheduled management meetings and present security-related information to other department managers.
• Oversee development and maintenance of annual operating budget for the department to identify and justify all variances appropriately.
• Maintain integrity and possess basic desire to protect and serve.
• Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
• Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.
• Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 requirements and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti-Money Laundering policies. Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SAR as needed.

Minimum Requirements To Qualifications

Other Criteria

Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American preference is observed.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
