Market & Competitive Intelligence Strategist

The Market & Competitive Intelligence Strategist plays a central role in shaping G&W Electric’s business strategy by owning the company’s understanding of markets, competitors, and external forces. As a key member of the Global Strategic Insights Team (GSIT), this individual leads the development of market-driven forecasts, both at the category and product level, to guide planning, investment, and innovation.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Strategic Insights, the role serves as an internal consultant, delivering insight that informs portfolio strategy, resource allocation, new product development, and M&A. This position is ideal for a high-performing strategic thinker who thrives at the intersection of research, modeling, and decision enablement.

As a Market & Competitive Intelligence Strategist you will :

• Market Forecasting

Build robust market and product-level forecasts, including TAM / SAM / SOM, by region and segment.

Monitor and assess macroeconomic, technological, regulatory, and geopolitical trends that impact G&W’s operating environment.

Conduct deep-dive analyses on key competitors, emerging players, suppliers, and partners.

Surface whitespace opportunities across adjacencies, technologies, or customer segments.

Lead market and competitor diligence to evaluate potential acquisition targets.

Translate insights into frameworks and guidance that inform annual plans, resource allocation, and investment priorities.

What we offer you :

Typical pay is $111,828 – 148,113 annually.

Please note the pay information shown above is a general guideline. Pay is based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications.

This position is eligible for participation in our Quarterly Incentive Pay Program
