Position Overview:
Provides assessment, treatment, care and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Leads program teams such as inpatient, outpatient, acute rehab, or other specific therapy services required to meet hospital California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirement (section 70643). In addition, provides lead role functions collecting and analyzing workflow/process performance data, recommending solutions that improve performance, coordinating continuing education and student programs, providing staff performance appraisal input, providing management coverage as requested and addresses other assigned organizational priorities. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.Job Description :
EDUCATION:
Master's: Graduate of an accredited speech pathology program
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
SP-Licensed Speech Pathologist
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
DL-Valid Drivers License Class C
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.

Pay Range is $64.32 to $80.41 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
