As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in implementing our early childhood curriculum and creating a nurturing classroom atmosphere that reflects the diverse cultures of our students' families. You will lead the daily educational program and collaborate closely with our Assistant Director to ensure a safe and enriching environment for all children.

Salary Range : $48,153 to $56,650, based on expertise.

Your Responsibilities :

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with child outcomes and classroom routines.
• Enhance children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities and experiences.
• Supervise and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for all children.
• Involve children and families in developing classroom experiences and prepare instructional materials in a timely manner.
• Support children's self-help skills and overall development.
• Ensure effective classroom management, organization, and cleanliness.
• Maintain daily communication with families through various channels.
• Conduct meetings with families during designated conference times and as needed.
• Keep developmental profiles for each child up to date.
• Lead and collaborate with Associate Teachers and Assistant Teachers to create a cohesive classroom team.
• Work with Curriculum & Instruction Coaches to develop a professional development coaching plan.
• Stay compliant with all state licensing requirements regarding health, safety, and professional standards.
• Complete all required program documentation and reports accurately and on time.
• Act as a role model for child development and maintain confidentiality regarding program, staff, and families.
