The Chief Of Staff is the COO's advisor and operating partner. From day one, the Chief Of Staff will immediately impact our productivity, streamline initiatives, oversee program management, and communicate objectives between departments. You will be a role model and live our Vision, Mission, and Values.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Chief Of Staff is a strategic and operational partner to the COO, with a primary focus on execution-driven program management within the electronics manufacturing environment and operations. Electronic experience with IoT devices is a plus.
  • This individual will lead key initiatives across manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to support efficient and scalable execution.
  • Ideal candidates will bring experience managing complex programs in electronics manufacturing, with strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to translate strategic vision into operational results.
  • Identify and drive improvements in manufacturing processes, workflows, and organizational structures to improve output and efficiency.
  • Spanish / English bilingual fluency is highly desired for this role and includes up to 25% travel, including visits to manufacturing sites and supplier locations.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and CEO, regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications
  • Lead and support cross-departmental efforts related to factory optimization, operational design, and efficiency improvement including coordinating and tracking / report progress
  • Provide program updates and reporting to leadership, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate effective communication across Spanish- and English-speaking teams in global operations.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field. MBA or experience at a top consulting company is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in program management, operations, supply chain or manufacturing leadership, ideally in the electronics or PCBA industry.
  • Deep understanding of PCBAs and manufacturing processes including testing, rework, NPI, and quality control.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects in hardware engineering, manufacturing and operations.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and global supply chain partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to drive decision-making based on data and KPIs.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal, is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of working across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to support regional and international execution needs.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement practices is a plus.
