Registered Nurse (RN) - Director of Cardiovascular Services

JOB TYPE : Full-Time Permanent
Director of Cardiovascular Services
Manages : Outpatient heart center includes stress testing, EKG echo
cardiogram & vascular, EP, Cath / Interventional Radiology / Vascular areas, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab as well as CV Prep and Recovery Area.
- 3 EP suites
- 2 Cath Labs
- 12-bed Cardiac Cath / EP Pre-Op and Recovery.
- Provides nursing leadership for assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care of assigned area(s) with twenty-four (24) hour accountability.
- Collaborates with physicians and other departments to meet patient and family needs.
- Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner.
- Supports the hospital mission in accordance with regulatory standards.

Requirements :
- Current RN license within the State of practice.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters preferred (MSN, MBA, or MHA).
- BLS / ACLS
- PALS - within 1 year of hire
- 3-5 years in Cardiovascular Services, with at least half of those years in Cardiovascular leadership (prefer in a program with full Cardiovascular services).
- 2 years Management in Cardiovascular Services.
- MUST have Cath Lab Experience.
- MUST have leadership experience.
- MUST have acute care experience.
