Procurement Analyst

Job Description

As a Procurement Analyst, you will act as a point of contact between the Fanatics Brands team and suppliers in addition to the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update manager regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing
• Manage an efficient flow of goods to maintain service levels
• Align with Director and Manager on appropriate inventory level agreements
• Manage inventory turns and mitigate stock outs
• Prepare and present weekly analysis of key metrics for area(s) of responsibility
• Manage existing and identify emerging risks that stem from business activities
• Purchase supply of products / materials
• Track and manage purchase orders and transfers through delivery
• Collaborate with managers on inventory levels, needs, transfers, waste to ensure accurate reporting and execution
• Ensure 1, 3, 6 and 12 month supplier forecasts are maintained and aligned on
• Prepare and analyze RFQ's for manager and Director
• Maintain vendor metrics / scorecard to drive high service rates

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in procurement, business, finance, or related field preferred
• 2-3 years of previous experience in procurement, purchasing or sourcing
• Working knowledge of the industry, processes and market conditions
• Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Self managing with a continuous process improvement mentality
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and querying tools
