We are looking for qualified, Self-Motivated Diesel Mechanics in Denton, TX area to join our team at Dynamic Fleet Services and Repair!

Our Diesel Mechanics understand that if a customer's truck isn't moving, they aren't making money. They work diligently to get these Fleet vehicles back on the road all while sharpening and expanding their mechanical skills.

The Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of tractors and trailers. Perform DOT inspections to ensure equipment meets regulatory requirements.

The Mechanic will be responsible for providing quality workmanship in a timely manner. The Mechanic must be able to communicate with Customers, other employees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• DOT inspections.
• OSHA Compliance in the shop.
• Safety compliance in the shop.
• Tool management & maintenance.
• Equipment preventive maintenance.
• Equipment repairs
• Complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Identify and report driver abuse of equipment.

Qualifications :

• Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and organizational skill.
• Strong Knowledge of DOT Compliance requirements for equipment.
• EPA 609 Certification.
• Strong electronic skills.
• Strong trouble shooting skills.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Diagnose, disassemble, clean and inspect engines.
• Diagnose, disassemble, clean, overhaul, repair, rebuild, and adjust clutches, transmissions, differentials and power divider systems, suspension systems, electrical systems, braking systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, steering system, emission and hydraulic systems.

Submit and complete technical reports and documentation. Troubleshoot fault codes and check engine lights as well as installation of engine, transmissions and other components.

Education & Experience :

• 5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Preferred 2 year technical school for Diesel Mechanic's. (Will substitute experience)

Physical Demand :

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to operate a computer and diagnostic equipment.
• Needs to be able to see a computer screen from a reasonable distance.
• Able to sit, stand, kneel, bend over, crouch, walk, lift, and reach for a full day.

Work Environment : Shop and Outside Environment work required under various weather conditions.
