Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Planning, organizing, and monitoring a reduced area of operations
- Ensure smooth and consistent operations and communicate at all levels
- Collaborate with Ops Manager to maintain a personnel structure and staffing level, to accomplish the area's needs in an effective and efficient manner
- Partner with Supervisors to manage all aspects of training and development of the area associates; includes non-exempt and exempt
- Manages and supports operations in responding to business needs ensuring high level of quality and productivity for internal and external customers
- Manage aging of inventory, cartons and trailers, to reduce keyed off cartons and inventory integrity issues at the stores
- Perform inventory management, such as cycle counts, and physical audits maintaining accuracy standards
- Design initiatives and develop strategies to increase the effectiveness of logistics functions
- Partners with various departments to develop, integrate and support overall strategies
- Understand, track, drills-down and questions activities and issues in area and recommends and / or makes sound business decisions based upon data gathered; provides creative solutions to continuously improve business processes
- Evaluate current work methods and determine ways to create efficiencies while maintaining SOP's
- Develop and recommend budget requirements for the area
- Maintain all established budget, productivity, accuracy and safety standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, Business Management or related field preferred5-7 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years of distribution center supervisory experience (retail organization preferred)Working knowledge of supply chain systems (PKMS, EDI, PMMS / JDA, TMS preferred)Exhibit critical thinking ability and reading comprehension skills.Self-motivated with minimal supervision requiredAbility to work in a team environmentStrong knowledge of warehouse proceduresMust be able to travelVirtual Requirements

This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as : incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
