Job Summary :
The Fleet & Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing company fleet operations while developing and maintaining programs that ensure the health, safety, and well-being of employees. This role partners with leadership and employees to reduce workplace risks, promote a safety-focused culture while remaining in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will balance operational efficiency with proactive risk management to support the company’s productivity and safety goals.

Essential Job Functions :
Oversee the acquisition, scheduling, maintenance, and disposal of company vehicles to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.Maintain accurate records for vehicle registrations, inspections, warranties, and insurance compliance.Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient vehicle repairs and preventive maintenanceMonitor driver performance and ensure compliance with company policies.Develop, implement, and update health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs to comply with OSHA, and other regulatory standards that apply to FA&S and Fire Protection.Lead investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses; create root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions.Manage workers compensation claims and vehicle accidents.Maintain OSHA records and manage company information across various safety platforms including Avetta, ISNetworld, NCMS, PEC Safety, PICS, and others.Facilitate safety and compliance training for employees, including defensive driving, accident prevention, hazard communication, emergency response and any other applicable safety topics need for the business.Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior management on key performance indicators, incidents, and corrective actions.Stay current with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices.Performs other related duties as assigned.Experience & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred and / or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in fleet management, and workplace safety, compliance, or risk management.Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.Effective communication and leadership skills.Ability to develop and deliver engaging safety / fleet training materials.Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office SuiteMaintains a valid driver's license and the ability pass a drug and background check.Physical Requirements :
