Billing Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Legal Billing Specialist the St. Louis area. Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated knowledge of attorney billings.

Title : Billing Specialist

Type : Direct Hire / Permanent

Location : Downtown, St. Louis

Schedule : Monday-Friday; 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm

Lunch : 1 Hour

Parking : Paid

Compensation : $52,000 to $55,000 (very flexible upon experience)

Job Description :

• Utilize electronic billing systems to submit and track invoices
• Perform billing duties for selected book of clients
• Trace e-billing adjustments and appeals
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys and accounting departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
• Answer billing questions
• Assist with accounts receivable if needed

Qualifications :

• 2+ years billing within the legal industry preferred
• Demonstrated ability to identify and address billing discrepancies effectively
• Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and obligations efficiently, meeting deadlines as required
• Proficient in using accounting information systems, as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software and equipment

Pay Details : $52, to $55, per year
