Shift : 6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
• BSN completion preferred

Additional Details :

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Ortho / MS / Tele

Must start by 4 / 28 or 5 / 5 for the higher rate

On Call / Weekend Requirement : no on call requirement; 50% weekends required.

Float requirement : Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

2 years of experience; IV start included.

At least 1 travel contract completed required if less than 4 years of experience.

Patient Diagnoses :

Orthopedics : Primary total joint (hip and knee) replacement, revision of total joint replacement, spine surgery, ankle replacement, total shoulder replacement

Limb Salvage : Diabetic wounds, venous / arterial stasis wounds, surgical debridement, amputations,

Urology : Prostatectomy, nephrectomy, stent placement

Other : The patient population is mostly surgical patients, but many have other comorbidities and may be followed by the medicine team or other specialty teams during their stay.

Scrubs : Any color without hospital logos; not provided by unit.

Maximum days off : 7 days

2 references from last 12 months (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
