KPMG Advisory is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Strategy practice. The practice is growing, and the role involves delivering HR integration work for transactions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support client engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform domestic and global post-deal HR integrations for mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, carve-outs, and other similar transactions for Fortune 1000 and middle-market companies and private equity investors. Work with KPMG"s cross-functional integration and separation teams on the HR portion of the engagement, focusing on the establishment and merging of compensation and benefits platforms.
  • Identify HR, compensation and benefit plan exposures during HR due diligence.
  • Contribute to the engagement process from start to finish, including setting scopes and budgets, staffing resources, creating and coordinating client-ready deliverables with integration and separation teams, and communicating results with clients.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years actuarial or general consulting experience in the valuation, design, administration and implementation of employee benefit and compensation plans with a top accounting or benefits consulting firm.
  • Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university / college.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, team player with strong communication and relationship-building skills, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, clients, and / or partners toward the successful completion of a project. On track to attain FSA, EA, CEBS, CCP and / or CEP designations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.

    Salary ranges are location-based. For salary ranges by city outside of CA, see the linked page on pay transparency. California Salary Range : $85,000 - $206,800.
