AVP SEC Reporting Attorney - Oyster Bay, NY

Large Insurance Carrier seeking legal subject matter expert in accounting and finance with strong technical knowledge of financial services industry legal compliance accounting and reporting, experience with SEC reporting, and Business Reporting Language fluency.

Functions :

• Provide SEC accounting reporting expertise to support reporting functions.
• Support filing of all applicable SEC reports, including the Annual Report on Form 10-K, Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q, Current Reports on Form 8-K, and other ad hoc filings; proxy statements; annual stockholders report, etc.
• Prepare and give presentations and disclosures for significant transactions.
• Provide supervisory oversight of junior staff including preparation and review of work papers that document publicly-disclosed financial information.
