About the Role :

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in our IBHS clinic-based setting plays a critical role in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral challenges. This position focuses on conducting comprehensive behavioral assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve client outcomes. The BCBA will collaborate closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and generalization of behavioral strategies across environments. Additionally, the role involves supervising and training Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other clinical staff to maintain fidelity to treatment protocols. Ultimately, the BCBA contributes to advancing the mission of our educational services by promoting positive behavioral change and enhancing the quality of life for our clients and their families.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field.
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
  • Knowledge of ethical guidelines and professional standards in applied behavior analysis.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required state licensure or certification for clinical practice.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working in an Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) clinic or similar clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with educational systems and collaboration with school personnel.
  • Experience supervising and training Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • Strong background in working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
  • Additional certifications or training in related therapeutic modalities or assessment tools.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and analyze data to identify behavioral patterns and needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each client’s unique needs.
  • Provide direct clinical supervision and training to RBTs and other support staff to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and promote generalization of skills.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging research in applied behavior analysis and related fields.
  • Skills :

    The BCBA utilizes strong analytical skills daily to interpret behavioral data and develop effective intervention strategies tailored to individual client needs. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with families, educators, and clinical teams to ensure cohesive and consistent treatment implementation. Leadership and supervisory skills are applied when mentoring RBTs and other staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining high standards of care. Organizational skills are critical for managing caseloads, documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements efficiently. Additionally, the BCBA applies problem-solving skills to adapt interventions based on client progress and emerging challenges, ensuring optimal outcomes.
