Job Title : Human Resources Clerk Location : Torrance, CA Employment Type : Full-Time Salary Range : 18.00 – 20.00 per hour Job Summary The Human Resources Clerk supports the HR department by maintaining personnel records, coordinating recruitment efforts, and assisting with employee inquiries. This entry-level role is ideal for someone organized, communicative, and eager to grow in the HR field. Key Responsibilities Maintain physical and digital personnel files (e.g., contracts, PTO requests) Update internal databases with new hire information Post and remove job ads across platforms Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates Prepare HR reports and presentations (e.g., hiring metrics) Assist in developing onboarding and training materials Respond to employee questions about benefits and policies Ensure confidentiality and compliance with labor laws Support other HR functions as needed Qualifications Degree or certification in Human Resources or related field Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic understanding of labor laws and HR practices Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Team-oriented, flexible, and self-motivate
