KPMG is currently seeking a Specialist Director, Contracts Management, to join our Managed Services practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Managed Services Contract Management team across all solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices
- Lead a team of contract professionals responsible for drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts for assigned MS Solutions, including coordinating and leading activities across all KPMG functions (business teams, Finance, Risk management, OGC, and more)
- Liaise with key stakeholders across Sales, Solution Management, and Delivery to ensure contracts are produced timely and in compliance with Firm standards; act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
- Work with the Market Growth Team to ensure the proper setup of opportunities and running of Sentinels in advance of moving into the contracting phase
- Maintain a database summarizing numerous contract terms across all active engagements; preserve contract schedules and proactively help CSMs and the Market Growth Team to drive renewals ahead of contract expiration; perform activities necessary to support firm compliance requirements including annual Sentinels on all active engagements, CEACs every three years, Sentinels and CEACs as required on contract amendments and renewals, maintenance of AF side of workpapers, and more
- Work with Risk Management and OGC teams to update contract templates and contracting processes in alignment with evolving firm requirements and advances in KPMG's contracting terms, including maintaining consistent contracting terms and language across all contract templates; collaborate with Managed Services Solution Leads who are developing new solutions to help vet out issues and bring them to market quicker, including the development of client contracting templates
Qualifications
Minimum eight years of recent experience in a consultative services organization; management experience preferredBachelor's degree from an accredited college / universityProven track record of leading successful contracting teams, with a focus on managed servicesStrong contract negotiation skills (with internal stakeholders such as Risk, OGC, Finance Business Owners and external Clients), stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and strategic thinkingStrong and proactive program management skills with the ability to take charge and drive the contracting process; capability to communicate effectively across all levelsCapacity to multi-task at a high level with strong organizational skills; problem-solving, process improvement, and leadership abilitiesAbility to travel as necessaryAuthorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the futureSalary and Benefits

Available benefits include medical and dental plans, vision coverage, disability and life insurance, 401(k) and well-being benefits. Personal Time Off is provided per fiscal year, and the firm observes holidays as part of our Total Rewards program.
Note : Salary ranges by city outside of CA are available on KPMG's pay transparency page. California salary range : $134,500 – $249,300.
