Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our experienced Thoracic Surgery team in Springfield, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Baystate Health, Medical Assistants perform an important role providing care to our patients. They take vital signs, perform patient intake and history, clinical orders, procedures, documentation and patient discharge. Our supportive work environment allows you to provide optimal patient care.

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday
• NO weekends, NO holidays

• 2 Medical Center Drive
• Springfield, MA

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED
• CPR-Basic Life Support of Healthcare Provider required from the American Heart Association
• Must be ONE of the following:

· Certified through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)

· A Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Registered as an American Medical Technologist (AMT)

· Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Association
