About the Role

We're seeking a driven, curious, and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with strong skills in Python (required), PHP , Laravel , and VueJS , that's eager to contribute to real-world SaaS products and platforms. You'll work on core systems powering our customer-facing web portal and backend infrastructure while shaping the future of a modern insurance-based program.

What You'll Do

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services that power an enterprise customer portal using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Build and enhance frontend interfaces using Tailwind CSS and VueJS , ensuring responsive, user-friendly design.
• Collaborate closely with our product manager, designers, VP of Engineering, and other internal stakeholders to turn requirements into robust features
• Work on SaaS-based architecture, helping optimize performance, maintainability, reliability and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and system design discussions. Comfortable using AI code-generation tools (Cursor AI, Claude, Copilot, etc.)
• Assist in integrating, training and applying machine learning algorithms or big data pipelines to production workflows
• Contribute to improving the developer experience, CI / CD processes, and internal tools that help with developer productivity

Technical skills and experience
