Addison Group is working with a reputable organization in the Lakewood area seeking an experienced and dependable HR Administrative Assistant . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured office environment and enjoys process-driven work supporting onboarding and compliance.

Job Description :

The HR Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing high-volume onboarding efforts and maintaining accurate employee records. This is a contract opportunity offering hands-on experience in HR operations, specifically in compliance and documentation, with a strong focus on new hire onboarding.

Key Responsibilities :

• Facilitate onboarding for groups of 20–30 new hires, including compliance-related documentation
• Coordinate background checks, physicals, DOT applications, and I-9 verifications
• Audit existing I-9 records for accuracy and completeness
• Scan and file personnel documents into the appropriate digital systems
• Support general HR administrative functions as needed
