Product Development Leader

Under limited supervision, leads development and execution of product / portfolio strategies and plans, taking into account product life cycle stage and the customer experience. Leads development and implementation of marketing, sales and all other activities, as needed, to achieve the necessary business outcomes. Independently lead needed market, economic and competitive evaluations that affect product performance. Performs fact-based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights. Leads completion of needed advanced data models and analytics. Identifies and prioritizes new features, including market analysis, business case development and driving prioritization. Leads and executes complex new product development initiatives across large, cross functional work teams. Actively coaches others in less senior positions. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in product marketing, economics, business, or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in product marketing, economics, business, or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent, in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience. The position requires experience with : Translate complex customer use cases into specific functional requirements that can be easily sized, scoped, and prioritized; Ability to quantify the potential value delivery of future feature releases; Competence with product management, product feedback, and / or product roadmap management tools; Competence on best practices for Voice of the Customer (VOC) capture; Collaborating with technical team members such Data Engineers and Data Scientists; Communicate complex technical information in an easily-understood, executive-ready fashion verbally or in writing. Superior knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact-based data analysis. Expert communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring and solving skills. Superior executive presence, human relations, networking and influencing skills. Strong project management and project management leadership experience. Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education. This position will be hybrid in Plano, TX and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius.
