Overview
The IT Analyst – End User Services plays a critical role in ensuring that employees have reliable, secure, and efficient access to the technology resources needed to perform their jobs effectively. This position is responsible for the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of end-user technologies, while also providing high-quality technical support. The role emphasizes proactive management of endpoint systems, compliance with organizational IT standards, and alignment with security best practices. The IT Engineer works closely with cross-functional IT teams to enhance the overall employee technology experience and drive continuous improvement in end-user services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver frontline and advanced technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications across multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
- Deploy, configure, and maintain end-user hardware, operating systems, and software in alignment with organizational standards.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and collaboration tools.
- Provide support for user identity, account management, and access controls through Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and related security policies.
- Manage and monitor endpoint security tools (antivirus, EDR, encryption, patching), ensuring systems remain compliant and secure.
- Support remote and hybrid work solutions, including VPN, remote desktop, and mobile device management.
- Utilize device management platforms such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or equivalent for application deployment, compliance enforcement, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues, escalating as needed while maintaining ownership of resolution.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of incidents, requests, changes, configurations, and procedures.
- Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure reliable IT service delivery and cross-team alignment.
- Identify recurring technical issues and recommend improvements to processes, tools, and user training.
- Provide clear, professional communication to end users, ensuring a positive support experience and fostering trust in IT services.
Qualifications
Two-four years of experience in IT support, end-user services, or a related technical role. Bachelor's degree is preferred.Proven hands-on experience with :Microsoft 365 administration and support (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).Identity and access management (Active Directory, Entra ID / Azure AD).Device management platforms such as Intune, SCCM, Kaseya VSA or comparable tools.Endpoint troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems.Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).Strong knowledge of endpoint security, patch management, and compliance enforcement.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Exceptional customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and emerging technologies.Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)
JISA Service Management / ServiceNow ExperienceExperience supporting hybrid or cloud-first environments (Microsoft Entra ID, Intune Autopilot, etc.).Familiarity with automation or scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for system administration.Exposure to ITIL practices (incident, change, and problem management).Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 Certified : Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent.This position description summarizes the main duties of the job. The salary / hourly range for this position is $70,000-$75,000 plus bonus potential. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
