A company is looking for a Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor / Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LASAC / LISAC) in Arizona on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities : Provide counseling to members through various communication methods to monitor their recovery progressConduct initial assessments and onboard users, offering therapeutic strategies to manage temptations and cravingsCollaborate with team members, maintain active licensing, attend meetings, and commit to a minimum of 10 hours per monthRequired Qualifications : Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in CBT and behavioral support for substance use disordersMS / MA or BS / BA in a related fieldProficiency in evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Medication Assisted Treatments, and Relapse PreventionAbility to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and adapt to fast-changing environmentsHold an active state credential and a relevant credential recognized by national credentialing bodies
