As a Reliability Compliance Management Specialist, you will serve as the technical expert on NERC and RRO reliability standards compliance activities and develop, direct, and oversee compliance programs for assigned NERC registrations.

Duties
Serve as the regional NERC Reliability Compliance Manager and authority on compliance violation decisions.Plan, provide regional personnel training, and direct the preparation for, and completion of, required NERC RRO audits.Facilitate development of mitigation plans to comply with compliance audit or violation findings.Coordinate, develop, review, or implement policies, guidelines and procedures required to meet NERC / RRO standards.Lead cross-functional and cross-organizational teams to plan, develop, and implement processes and guidance for the reliability compliance program.Develop internal monitoring and reporting process to provide reasonable assurance of reliability compliance with RRO / NERC mandatory compliance monitoring and enforcement program.Apply knowledge of Operations, Transmission Planning, Maintenance, and Information Technology functions and agency policies, regulations and precedents to improve program effectiveness.Qualifications
Specialized experience :
One year (52 weeks) of leading a compliance project for assigned NERC registrations, including compliance activities and processes; and evaluating compliance evidence to analyze and determine if compliance is being demonstrated.For GS-13, the above specialized experience is required.For GS-14, in addition to the above, you must serve as a subject matter expert on NERC reliability standards.Competencies : Compliance, Leadership, Project Management, Technical Problem Solving.
