Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available for the uping school year, from August 18, 2024, through June 2025, to support middle school students in Philadelphia, PA. The role operates on a contract basis with scheduled work hours from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to middle school students with special needs.
• Provide inclusion support across various subjects including social studies, science, and math.
• Manage a bined 6th and 7th grade ELA class, adapting curriculum as necessary to meet diverse learning requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to enhance student learning outes.
